Noise very soft, Ice extremely clear with potable water , I liked

Using this ice ball maker enhances the taste of my drinks. The ice melts slowly and doesn’t dilute my spirits.

Runs hot, is loud, does not maintain the ice, it melts and refreezes. It doesn't even make full spheres. The spheres have huge holes or are half way around.

My husband is happy he has ball ice without refilling trays but for the cost, I’m not sure it’s worth it. Several nuances need improvement. The biggest flaw is how fast the ice melts even though, they advertise it storing 56 balls of ice. When I reached out, they told me it has the capacity but will not keep them from melting. It’s recommended you take the ice out as soon as they drop about every 35 minutes. Even with the recommended water, I have yet to have clear ice balls. If you are manually adding water, you need something small to pour it from because the door is in the way and doesn’t open far enough. Even getting the ice basket in and out, there is barely enough room. It would be nice to have a little extra space so you could tilt it to easily let the extra melted water go back into the ice maker instead of it dripping.

The machine has several unnecessary engineering defects that make it difficult to use. The drain plug is hard to use and fragile. When it fails, the machine will be unusable. It also stays too wet inside between uses which is a sanitation issue. I have to dry it out with a portable fan after each use.

The company was quite responsive and tried to make things right but these are fundamental engineering defects so they could only do so much (sent me spare drain plugs which will extend its life somewhat)

Can't recommend until the unit is redesigned.
