My husband is happy he has ball ice without refilling trays but for the cost, I’m not sure it’s worth it. Several nuances need improvement. The biggest flaw is how fast the ice melts even though, they advertise it storing 56 balls of ice. When I reached out, they told me it has the capacity but will not keep them from melting. It’s recommended you take the ice out as soon as they drop about every 35 minutes. Even with the recommended water, I have yet to have clear ice balls. If you are manually adding water, you need something small to pour it from because the door is in the way and doesn’t open far enough. Even getting the ice basket in and out, there is barely enough room. It would be nice to have a little extra space so you could tilt it to easily let the extra melted water go back into the ice maker instead of it dripping.

The machine has several unnecessary engineering defects that make it difficult to use. The drain plug is hard to use and fragile. When it fails, the machine will be unusable. It also stays too wet inside between uses which is a sanitation issue. I have to dry it out with a portable fan after each use.

The company was quite responsive and tried to make things right but these are fundamental engineering defects so they could only do so much (sent me spare drain plugs which will extend its life somewhat)

Can't recommend until the unit is redesigned.

This ice ball maker looks high-end and stylish in my kitchen. The ice balls are perfect every time.

Slightly pricey, but the performance is excellent. The ice balls are perfect—definitely worth the investment.

Even first-time users can operate this easily. The ice balls are crystal clear and look amazing.

I’ve had it for two weeks. It’s incredible. The ice balls are smaller than my molds, but they’re still nice size. 2 inches. Very pleased.

I know we don’t write reviews, but this is a great icemaker. It has a premium feel to it and I was surprised how premium the cylinder ice is.. what is the benefit of this icemaker as it attaches to a water source you do not have to keep refilling it! Also, it comes with a cylinder ice tray so you can put the cylinder ice on a tray and put it in the freezer for use later which is very handy so they keep their form. Absolutely love this product. I was surprised how fast this machine produces..

Full disclosure. This thing is heavy. Now for the fun part, makes an amazing ice. I'm an avid whiskey drinker, the way the shape of the ice helps chill the whiskey while not getting watery is impressive. Definitely recommend 🤘🏽🐼🤘🏽

I decided to try this ice ball maker bc we never have enough ice to fill everyone’s water bottles.  When I first opened the maker I was surprised by its size, it was larger than I had anticipated. I will say there are a number of things I really like about it.
1. It runs very quiet.  I have had other counter top ice makers that are so loud, this one is not at all!
2. It keeps the ice balls frozen for a long time, they don’t melt fast at all.
3. It makes a lot of ice!  144 balls in 24 hours is way more than I would ever use but would be wonderful if I was having a party.
4. The ice balls are really good size but fit nicely in water bottles which is a huge plus.
5. I like the option of actually hooking it to a water supply and drain.  You have to have the right location to be able to do that but it is a really nice option.
6. The self clean function is really nice.  It’s so easy to start and runs quickly.  It’s also easy to drain the water tank after running the self clean.
7. Using filtered water the ice balls come out crystal clear!
8. The ice balls are perfect for your cocktails/whiskey.  They do not melt fast so they don’t water down your drinks.
There a couple things that I could see as improvements.
1. The drip tray is okay but I wish it actually attached somehow.  It’s always getting pushed away from the maker and well then it doesn’t work so well.
2. The water reservoir isn’t huge but this wouldn’t be an issue if it was hooked to a water line and drain.

Overall I really like this Ice ball maker and I am very satisfied with my purchase.

We really like this ice maker. It makes perfect sphere shaped ice that stays in tact in drinks for a long time. I don’t like when ice goes in to my mouth while I’m drinking water, so these ice balls are perfect. So much better than little pieces of ice. It also makes the ice very fast, and is super easy to keep clean.

Love this thing. I picked it up so that I didn’t have to keep using the ice cube molds to get spheres. The sphere cubes work better for just about everything. Whiskey, iced espresso drinks, cocktails, etc…

They melt noticeably slower than other ice I’ve used. These spheres in particular seems a bit more dense than the ones I was getting out of the molds, which is a welcome surprise.

It is obviously extremely expensive, but for that money you get a pretty solid ice maker.

This ice maker is great. The ice comes out very dense and clear and includes several ice trays to keep your ice fresh in the freezer.

I did not use the included water inlet or drain hose, but it does not need it. It is very simple to pour water into the tank and can fit about 4 rounds of ice making per tank (16 ice balls)

The instructions for set up are not too clear, but the machine is very intuitive and easy to use. There are only 2 buttons, one to clean and one to make ice. It is a bit unclear that the drainage plug to use after self cleaning without a hose is underneath the machine, but once it is discovered, it is very simple to pull and plug for cleaning.

Overall this is a great machine, it has a sleek look and runs quietly. It contains the water well without leaking or dripping much outside of the included drip tray.

I just got the Clear Ice Ball Maker, and wow, I’m seriously impressed. As someone who loves Liquor, having ice that doesn’t melt too fast and water down my drink is a huge win. The crystalflux stuff they mention really makes a difference —each ice ball comes out super clear with barely any air bubbles, and they melt slowly, keeping my drink just right.

The best part is how fast it makes the ice. Within 40 minutes, I already got ice balls ready to go. This is a game-changer when friends come over, and I’m trying to impress them with a nice drink. Plus, it makes up to 144 balls a day, so it’s perfect if you’re serving drinks for a crowd.

Another cool thing is how easy it is to maintain. The self cleaning is great, and I don’t have to deal with any hassle when it comes to keeping everything fresh. Ice maker came delivered on time and as described. Very easy setup and had crystal clear ice balls very quicly. Unit is well built with many unexpected accesories. The ice lasted in my drink much longer than conventional cubes. Easy to use and great value!

This ECOZY Sphere Ice Maker is precisely what is advertised.  The initial harvest of ice was slow; however, the second harvest was completed as stated in the user manual.  The self-clean mode is easy to perform, with limited overall cleaning.  I would highly recommend this device to anyone who hosts parties or a family that frequently uses ice.  The spheres last long, especially in insulated cups.  We are very pleased with the ease and convenience of this machine. Our family has tried multiple manual sphere molds that were time-intensive and made only a few spheres at a time. This ECOZY ice maker is definitely our first choice now!

I gave this ice maker a try as I've always been curious of the appeal of spherical ice. It's actually pretty decent as it has a built in water inlet and an outlet for replacing the existing water. The Water Inlet is optional, so it's not the end of the world since I couldn't connect the inlet without making some janky water line install in my kitchen as it also allows you to manually pour the water into the unit to start the ice making process. As for how fast (or slow) it is, I have no point of reference. I believe it's on the faster side, but again... no point of reference since it's the 1st spherical ice maker I had. The ice balls it produces, it is a pretty solid sphere and it's almost clear enough that I'd almost mistake it for a marble, so it's pretty high quality! The only thing I didn't realize when I purchased it was that the unit was bigger than anticipated. 1 thing that confused me about the product was the extra add-ons that it comes with. There's a rubber ice padding that's used to soften the fall of the ice balls and the plastic ice ball holder (in case you plan on keeping a few solid ones for immediate aesthetic use). All in all, it's an overall decent ice sphere maker

When I saw this machine I was super excited to give it a try. The thought of not having to fill our larger ice molds and wait for them to freeze anymore really turned me on to this ice maker. When we first got the machine it was a little bigger than anticipated but that is okay. You have the option to hook it up to a water line or just fill the machine for more counter top use, which is what we did. It took about 40 minutes for the first 4 balls to be made but after that it averaged around 4 balls every half hour. With having the option of the water line hook up I was concerned about how often I would have to add water to get a decent amount of balls but we filled it once and then topped off after an hour which it still had a lot of water in it and it made about 20 balls of ice. I was impressed with that. I am sure we will get a lot of use out of this machine as we are big on bourbons and when we entertain we go through our larger cubes quickly. I now want to make more of a bar area and make this more of a permanent appliance booking it up to a water line rather than using it as a counter top appliance.

This is the best addition to our kitchen gadgets. Big whiskey drinker. Nice to have restaurant grade spheres at your fingertips with little to no effort required. Unit looks good also. I like how you can set water up to it and a drain directly so it can just always automatically feed, but also nice to know you can just add water if a water line wasn’t close. Great addition, great spheres, great looking!!

This ice ball maker looks modern and works great. Auto-fill and self-cleaning features save me a lot of time.
